Process overview
The EPS Separation Plant recovers EPS waste mixed with cement and aggregates, and turns it into a new raw material for lightweight concrete and other construction products.
EPS-containing waste from demolition and refurbishment has always been very difficult to recover. Dedicated separation processes give it a second life.
Benefits for licensees
The recovered beads are fed into the Politerm® Evolution Plant and treated with E.I.A., which makes them compatible with cementitious mixes again and turns them into Politerm® R.
